Hello 2007!

I'd like to wish everyone a happy, healthy and prosperous new year. Here's to nothing but birdies and eagles in 2007!

I've had a full yet relaxing holiday season. We purchased four Sea Doo jet skiis and have had a lot of fun "skiing" the Gulf of Mexico. We also took a family vacation to Paradise Island in the Bahamas and spent a week at The Atlantis. What a fantastic place!

I'm continuing to improve in my rehabilitation from my hip replacement surgery and I am very happy and excited about the upcoming season. It has been four years since I've had the chance to play a full season on the Tour without some kind of surgical procedure!

As I work with John D'Amico here in Naples I'm seeing progress that is steady and encouraging. I've been able to build more strength, stamina and coordination and though I'm probably not back to 100% yet, I feel good about where I am.

I am playing the first two events on the 2007 Champions Tour schedule: The Mastercard Championship and the Turtle Bay Championship, both in Hawaii. After that, I'll be taking a week off and then will play three in a row: The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, The Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am in Tampa and the ACE Group Classic in Naples. Look for me on the leaderboards!
